Sales Associate

Berger Convenience & Spirits is a combination Gas Station, Convenience Store, and Liquor Store in Olathe, KS. We are a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing excellent customer service in an employee friendly setting. We are looking for smart, reliable, and friendly people interested in a customer service role. We expect all employees to be proficient in cash handling and able to process transactions accurately and efficiently. As a sales associate you will be responsible for selling convenience and liquor store products and merchandise, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting store. Along with the hourly wage we also offer a variety of benefits to our employees. Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain an exceptionally clean work environment
• Keep an eye on inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
• Prepare and handle select food products

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Eligibility to work in the United States and around Tobacco and Alcohol
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
• Basic math skills
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance

Details:

• Pay: $15 / hour
• Hours: Part-Time & Full-Time positions available
• Store Hours: 6am-10pm most days
