Scheduler

Northedge Steel is a metal building manufacturer servicing the Midwest and Southeast. We are looking for someone that can hit the ground running, is highly motivated, and excited to be part of an expanding business.

We are hiring a Scheduler to coordinate installations for customers by planning weekly schedules, determining installation lengths, mapping site locations, and working with customers to ensure a smooth installation. This person will also oversee all repair scheduling for the Southeast territory, ensuring repairs are reviewed, processed in a timely manner, and scheduled efficiently. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with contractors to ensure we are selecting the most suitable contractor for each repair or install run.

Our schedulers provide product and service information and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face with their order or installation. They are confident at troubleshooting and will investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer questions or complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the materials involved and how our products are constructed
• Schedule 40+ jobs per week based on location, amount, and complexity
• Oversee and schedule all repair jobs in the Southeast territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors to ensure best-fit assignments for repairs and installs
• Answer customer questions about building specifications and installation
• Collaborate with other team members, installers, and leadership to improve customer service
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
• Build sustainable relationships and trust with the dealer network and customers through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the appropriate methods and tools
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
