What you’ll make happen
  • Set up and change over production equipment to meet the day’s schedule and quality targets.
  • Partner with operators to isolate issues; troubleshoot root causes and execute repairs.
  • Use technical manuals and schematics; document adjustments and modifications so future setups and conveyor/machine tweaks are repeatable.
  • Complete corrective repairs to keep assets in peak condition.
  • Perform major mechanical overhauls on select packaging machinery.
  • Diagnose motor and electrical problems; verify that systems are operating and configured properly.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and continuously improve PM plans.
  • Recommend design improvements; carry out approved equipment modifications.
  • Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and GMP requirements at all times.
  • Provide coverage for mechanics on other shifts when required.

  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.
