AGC Glass Company North America operates a high-tech manufacturing site in Bellefontaine, Ohio, producing high-quality automotive safety glass for automakers in the United States and around the world. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment, this role lets you embed quality into every step of production.

Role snapshot
  • Lead the creation and deployment of quality control systems and processes.
  • Execute audits and testing to verify compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
  • Drive defect reduction and capability improvement across production operations.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain to investigate and resolve issues at the root cause.
  • Author and maintain quality documentation: process flows, inspection plans/reports, corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Operations Management, Engineering Management, Quality Management, or a closely related field.
  • Master's degree in quality management or a related discipline preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related manufacturing function.
  • Hands-on experience with Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proven track record conducting audits, inspections, and testing programs.
Standards and methods
  • Automotive frameworks: IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VOA, APQP.
  • Core quality methods: APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA.
Technical toolkit
  • Manufacturing processes, product design fundamentals, and materials knowledge.
  • Statistical analysis, problem-solving, and KPI/quality metric interpretation.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality management platforms (ERP systems or SAP).
  • Minitab or equivalent statistical software.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and the ability to interpret engineering drawings is beneficial.
  • Experience with OEM portals is a plus.
