POSITION PURPOSE: TheCustomer ServiceAssociateparticipates inallsales flooractivitiesin addition tomaintaining aprofessional manner to ensure maximuminternal and externalcustomer satisfaction.Responsible for ensuring thesecurity and protection of company assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:- Follow safety policies andprocedures ensuring maximumsafety,security,and protection ofall customers andcompany assets.
- Perform Counterpoint Point of Sale functions and transactions; ensue safe and accurate handling of all cash drawer funds, media, and Goodwill property; accountable for overages and shortages.
- Ensure all merchandiseisdisplayed/stocked in its proper department and in accordance with merchandising procedures. Performnecessary housekeeping duties, including, but are not limited to, cleaning and recovery ofsales floor, dressing rooms and production/processing areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming as needed, maintaining order in alldepartments, including clothing, domestics, shoes/accessories, wares, books, and furniture.
- Responsible to assistas needed in production areas including textiles, WEB and ASH.In addition, to assisting in accepting donations.
- Follow company policy and procedures according to Goodwill Employee Handbook and SOPs applicable to job position.
- Ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Work cooperatively with all consumers, community groups, co-workers, and subordinates to promote the achievement of the company mission.
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
- All other duties as assigned (i.e. cleaning, recovery).
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Highschooldiploma or GEDequivalentpreferred,along with aminimum of1-3 monthsofrelatedexperienceand/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
