We are conducting a search on behalf of our client for a Clinical Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, ethical, and audit-ready care is provided to a diverse community; oversees documentation and billing accuracy and supervises and develops clinical staff; provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs. End results are evaluated for achieving goals and objectives in line with the client's mission. Extensive contact with internal and external stakeholders is required to meet goals and objectives.
Snapshot of responsibilities (a full JD will be provided during our first initial conversation)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Behavioral health clinical practice, supervision models, and evidence-based interventions.
• Medicaid/CMH and commercial payer rules, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• CPT/HCPCS coding, utilization management, and quality improvement frameworks.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
• Minimum Degree Required: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Required Disciplines: Clinical disciplines appropriate to behavioral health service delivery and 3–5+ years providing direct clinical services and at least 2+ years of clinical supervision/management in community-based settings; Medicaid/CMH billing oversight strongly preferred. Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications:
• Licenses/Certifications Required at Date of Hire: Active unrestricted clinical license in Michigan (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LP). Approved Clinical Supervisor credential or equivalent preferred.
