Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a Mid-Level Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized Franchise & Distribution Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactional matters involving franchise, licensing, distribution, M&A, and general corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on franchise, licensing, and distribution matters.
- Support franchise program development, regulatory compliance, and commercial agreements.
- Assist with domestic and international expansion strategies.
- Handle franchise-related M&A and other corporate transactions.
- Work directly with clients on sophisticated matters and assume significant responsibility.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in M&A, general corporate, and/or licensing matters.
- Franchise experience preferred but not required.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage a demanding workload.
- Demonstrated maturity, initiative, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
$215,000–$365,000, depending on location and experience, plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
