Maintenance Mechanic in Temple, TX
2nd Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM

ThePittsburgh Paints Companyis seeking aMaintenance Mechanicresponsibleformaintaining, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and plant utility systems across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on belts, piping,filters, mixers, conveyors, valves, bearings, and seals
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to resolve and prevent issues
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics, and production equipment
- Install and service control devices, sensors, and motor control systems
- TroubleshootPLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and 480V 3-phase electrical systems
- Read and workfrom blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Perform basic welding andfabrication as needed
Qualifications
- 3–5 years ofmechanical maintenance or skilled trades experience
- Must be 18 years ofage,High school diploma or GEDrequired
- Strong mechanical and electrical background
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley preferred)
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
- Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus
- Strong communicationand teamwork skills
