Material Handler

ThePittsburgh Paints Companyis seeking aMaterial Handlerresponsible for receiving, shipping, and handling raw materials, packaging, and finished goods as they enter or leave the facility, including transfers within the site.

Pay is $19.52 phr with 1.00 dollar shift differential.

You will work onsite at the Huron, Ohio Plant on a2ndShift from 3PM to 11PM Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Move finished goods from production line to shipping or warehouse storage

• Receive and put away inventory using SAP processes

• Load/unload trucks and support production material flow

• Operate forklifts, & automated packaging equipment

• Inspect product for defects and ensure quality standards

• Maintainaccuraterecords using RF scanners and computer systems

• Stage materials and keep filling lines stocked

• Maintain clean work area and perform basic equipment checks

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age; High School Diploma or GEDrequired

• Previousmaterial handling or forklift experience preferred

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn SAP systems

• Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.frequentlyand 80 lbs. occasionally

• Ability to wear required PPE and follow safety procedures

• Strong teamwork and attention to detail

Equipment Used

Forklifts, robotic palletizers, conveyors, RF scanners, and general warehouse equipment.
