We are currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician to become a member of the Aleman Auto Repair Family! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and take care of automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
- Inspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
- Communicate with other staff members and clearly lay out and explain issues with vehicles, and their diagnoses on what's needed to repair them.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Fast Learner
- Strong communicational and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a efficient and safe manner
Job Type: Full Time Worker
Pay Starting: $20-$30/Hour
Schedule:
- Open 8am to 5pm on Mondays through Fridays
- Open 8am to 12pm on Saturdays, shift is optional for extra hours
- 30 minute breaks with an additional optional 15 minute break
- Closed on Sundays
- Closed + Paid on Holidays*
- 40 Hour work week minimum
- Flexible scheduling
- Any additional hours over 40 is paid overtime
- *Closed on most/all major holidays
License/Certification:
At least one Automotive state certification in any of the following-
- Mechanics Certification
- Engine Repair
- Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
- Manual Drive Train & Axles
- Suspension & Steering
- Brakes
- Electrical/Electronic Systems
- Heating & Air Conditioning
- Engine Performance
- Or in the process of obtaining one already
- *Also required to have a valid drivers license in the state of Michigan.
Experience:
- At least one year experience as a mechanic or automotive technician apprentice preferred but is not required.
Additional Skills/Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is not required however, is a huge advantage
- Spanish only speakers accepted / aceptamos solo hablantes de espaol
