Position Summary
We areseeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and shipping electrical supplies and materials while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Unload, inspect, and properly store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Stock shelves, racks, and bins with electrical products and materials.
- Pull customer orders from pick tickets accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packaging, labeling, and staging materials.
- Measure and cut electrical wire and cable to customer specifications for order fulfillment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Identify and reportdamaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide support to warehouse, delivery, and counter sales operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, pick tickets, and ship documents.
- Basic computer skills and inventory management experience are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment.
