As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality menu items with consistency and efficiency, ensuring the satisfaction of our guests. You will maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhere to food safety standards, and collaborate with our culinary team to innovate and improve our offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure all food is cooked to the highest standards of quality and taste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow during service.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes.
- Provide input on improving kitchen operations and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting, with knowledge of Cuban cuisine preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
