Corporate Catering Server – Executive Dining & Events– Part-time 2/3 days per week
Job Type:Part-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate benefits;not a temporary job)
Location:Pittsburgh, PA 15219 (Downtown)
Schedule:Part-Time daylight schedule (2 to 3 days per week, Monday – Friday daylight hours, with occasional overtime/extended hours when required)
New Hire Starting Base Pay:$20.00 – $22.64 per hour (Starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways as you build specialized expertise.)
Future Earning Potential:Established employeeshave the opportunity toearn progressive pay increases up to $30.55 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Education & Experience:High School Diploma or GED required;minimum 2 years of work experience in full-service dining, catering, or event planning environments.
- ExceptionalEnglishwrittenand verbalcommunication skillswith meticulous attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Service & Hospitality Skills:Expertise in banquet set-up, professional food and beverage service, and post-event breakdown for executive and corporate functions.
- Communication & Professionalism:High degree of discretion and confidentiality, excellent verbal communication, neat professional presentation, and ability to interact with executive leadership and visitors.
- Physical & Technical Capabilities:Ability to stand for extended periods,lift upto 25lbs, operate basic Microsoft Office/computer software, and maintain strict punctuality.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Executive Catering Execution:Independently set up, serve, and clean up catered meetings, executive dining functions, and special events across multiple floors.
- Sanitation & Equipment Maintenance:Ensure all kitchen areas, service ware, glassware, linens, and catering equipment are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained per safety guidelines.
- Event Coordination:Meet with kitchen management to review event specifications, prioritize catering requests, and communicate setup details to support staff.
- Executive Dining Support:Maintain a high-end, professional dining atmosphere for corporate leadership, faculty, and external event attendees.
- Inventory & Operational Reporting:Monitor supply levels, track catering service needs, and promptly inform supervisors of any operational issues.
