Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to support the fabrication of custom metal products. This role requires a highly skilled operator capable of performing machine setups, die changes, and producing precision-bent components from engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment
- Perform die changes and tooling adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Verify dimensions and ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues
- Maintain quality standards and production schedules
- Collaborate with welders and fabrication personnel to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications
- 3+ years of press brake experience
- Experience performing complete machine setups and die changes
- Strong blueprint reading abilities
- Experience using calipers, tape measures, and precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a custom fabrication environment preferred
