Manager on Duty

Manager on Duty (MOD) role is a crucial supervisory position that supports the General Manager (GM) in the shift-to-shift operations of the venue. The MOD is responsible for taking charge of the venue in the GM's absence, managing day-to-day activities, which includes everything from front-desk duties and guest relations to staffing, training, maintenance, and maintaining brand standards. It is a multi-faceted role requiring clear communication and the ability to maintain a professional, safe, and efficient environment.

This role typically sees 32 hours weekly, which will qualify for the Benefits listed.

Duties Include:

• Work on site with the venue GM to assist with day-to-day venue operations.
• Manage and take responsibility for the venue in the absence of the GM.
• Check-in guests, handle payments, incoming and outgoing calls, and any other required front desk duties.
• Communicate clearly, quickly, and effectively with venue teams and HQ staff.
• Work closely with venue staff to maintain corporate brand and operations standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment in all spaces within the venue.
• Assist with venue maintenance and repairs.
• Organize and manage venue inventories.
• Manage guest relations and guest experience.
• Assist with guest review collection and responses.
• Assist with venue marketing activities and promotions.
• Help plan and manage staff work schedules, including calling-in, calling-out, and finding replacements for staff members.
• Assist with venue HR situations and enforcement.
• Assist with staff training and development.

*MOD takes part in tip pool with average monthly tip between $100 - $1,000 depending on performance

The first 30 days in your new role as MOD will be considered a probationary period. If you are unable to meet or maintain the standards required, you may be removed from the position.
