Position Summary
Conduct a variety of hydraulic and electrical tests designed to reliably assure predictable pump performance.
Essential Functions
- Understanding of Manufacturing processes.
- Dismantling and assembly of pumps HSC, KFL, KP & VT Pumps.
- Set-up and operate lathe equipment to perform required impeller trim operations.
- Ability to perform balancing of impellers on balancing machine as per guidelines and procedures.
- Analyze and diagnose if there is any problem in assembly of pumps.
- Study of Pump performance processes.
- Pump test set up for all pump models.
- Conduct performance test and analyze data.
- Study of VT Pump assembly and inspection processes.
- Assembly of Pump and testing.
- Dismantling of Pumps.
- Study of Electric and Diesel set assembly processes.
- Assembly of Electrical set.
- Assembly of Diesel set.
- Engraving of TAG.
- Maintain 5S and safety.
- Cleans and maintains an orderly work area.
- Communicates effectively with other team members to direct personal workflow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing / lathe / balancing machine operations/Testing etc.
- Forklift certified.
- Experience working with pumps.
- Experience in adjusting controls and taking data.
- Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work well as a team.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
- Positive attitude.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
