We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This position is responsible for independently managing the company’s daily bookkeeping and accounting activities while maintaining accurate, timely, and well-organized financial records.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple accounting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting activities
  • Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices, payments, deposits, and vendor transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial accounts
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Monitor outstanding balances and cash flow
  • Assist with payroll processing and payroll records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
  • Maintain complete documentation for financial transactions
  • Support budgeting, audits, tax preparation, and year-end closing
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors, banks, accountants, and leadership
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
  • Ability to manage bookkeeping responsibilities independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work full-time from our Pembroke Pines office

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with payroll, audits, tax preparation, or financial reporting
  • Experience developing or improving bookkeeping procedures and internal controls

Compensation and Work Arrangement

  • Salary: $60,000 per year
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Location: Pembroke Pines, Florida
  • Work arrangement: Fully in-office; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available
