NOW HIRING: ASSEMBLERS

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Assemblers in Rainsville, AL!

Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Rainsville, AL

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Follow all safety policies and properly use required PPE.

  • Operate coil winding equipment, including hand-guided bench lathe machines, Bachi, Broomfield, and hand winders.

  • Prepare coils for assembly and testing through bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires and lugs.

  • Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools.

  • Operate robotic welding equipment.

  • Perform transformer potting using epoxy and silica sand.

  • Use lift-assist equipment to safely move and handle products.

  • Participate in physical inventory activities.

  • Meet established productivity and efficiency standards.

  • Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.

  • Perform additional duties as business needs change.

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and visual aids.

  • Good communication and time-management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated and organized.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable adjusting to changing assignments and priorities.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and work at a fast pace throughout the shift.

  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.

  • Use lift assistance for heavier products.

  • Perform repetitive hand movements requiring good dexterity.

  • Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined or narrow spaces.

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
