PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Assemblers in Rainsville, AL!
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Rainsville, AL
Follow all safety policies and properly use required PPE.
Operate coil winding equipment, including hand-guided bench lathe machines, Bachi, Broomfield, and hand winders.
Prepare coils for assembly and testing through bending, shaping, cutting, sanding, soldering, and attaching wires and lugs.
Use pneumatic and hydraulic crimping tools.
Operate robotic welding equipment.
Perform transformer potting using epoxy and silica sand.
Use lift-assist equipment to safely move and handle products.
Participate in physical inventory activities.
Meet established productivity and efficiency standards.
Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
Perform additional duties as business needs change.
Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and visual aids.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and organized.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable adjusting to changing assignments and priorities.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to stand and work at a fast pace throughout the shift.
Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
Use lift assistance for heavier products.
Perform repetitive hand movements requiring good dexterity.
Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined or narrow spaces.
