Florida Health Science Consulting, LLC is seeking a CNA Program Instructor to deliver high-quality instruction and guidance for students preparing for certification in Tallahassee, FL.

Position Summary

The CNA Program Instructor will lead classroom and lab instruction for aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to succeed. This role emphasizes effective teaching, strong communication, and a supportive learning environment aligned with program standards and safety requirements.

As a part-time, onsite instructor, you will help maintain curriculum quality, evaluate student progress, and contribute to a consistent training experience from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging instruction in CNA theory and practical skills, following established curriculum and instructional standards

  • Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments to support student learning outcomes

  • Guide students in skills development within lab settings, emphasizing competency, safety, and professionalism

  • Evaluate and document student performance, including clinical readiness and assessment results

  • Maintain an organized, standards-driven classroom and training environment, including adherence to safety and operational procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license

  • Demonstrated experience teaching, training, or instructing in a healthcare or clinical education environment

  • Strong knowledge of CNA fundamentals, patient care practices, and safety principles

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with students and stakeholders

  • Reliable, punctual onsite presence in Tallahassee, FL

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering CNA instruction or working within vocational/healthcare training programs

  • Familiarity with certification exam preparation and competency-based learning approaches

  • Experience assessing student skills and providing actionable feedback

  • Background working in clinical settings that involve direct patient care

Compensation

Hourly rate: $35.00 - $50.00
