Position Summary:
AWPM is seeking a Project Engineer based in the State of Alabama to support ongoing and upcoming work in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will provide engineering services with a strong focus on civil infrastructure and water systems, contributing technicalexpertiseacross planning, design, permitting, and project execution.
This position requires a Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure and involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external clients to define, manage, and deliver project scope. You willbe responsible forsetting and managing client expectations, developing detailed project plans,identifyingrisks, and communicating project requirements to ensure successful delivery.
Beyond project execution, the Project Engineer will play an active role in client relationship management, working to strengthen partnerships with existing clients while cultivating new opportunities. You will also support business development, marketing, and branding efforts to advance AWPM’s presence in the market and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
