?? Shipping & Receiving Associate – Help Wanted
We are a zinc plating and metal finishing company looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a shipping and receiving role. This position is critical to ensuring customer parts are handled accurately and shipped on time.
Responsibilities:
- Package plated parts to prevent damage during transit
- Verify part counts and match to packing slips and work orders
- Inspect parts for obvious quality issues before shipment
- Load/unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Keep shipping area clean, organized, and efficient
- Communicate with office staff and production leads on order status
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced shop environment
- Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
