Essential Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification in the state
- Experience or strong knowledge of best practices in psychological assessment, consultation, and intervention within educational environments
- Ability to support a diverse student population, spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, educators, and administration
- Flexibility to adapt to caseloads that may vary based on student needs
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and write thorough reports to guide educational programming
- Offer crisis intervention and mental health support for students as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that foster student success
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide counseling, behavior intervention, and preventive mental health services for students
- Advocate for equitable access and positive outcomes across the K-12 spectrum
- Uphold all district, state, and federal regulations regarding special education and student support
This is an onsite-only position, scheduled at 35 hours per week, with a school day running either 8:50 am – 3:30 pm or 7:30 am – 2:20 pm, allowing for a work-life balance during the traditional academic calendar.
