firstPRO 360 is seeking an AR/Billing Specialistfor an immediate role in Duluth, GA. This individual will be responsible for preparing and tracking all billing payments, reviewing contracts and agreements for billing terms, preparing monthly statements, maintaining accurate records and reporting, as well as responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues as needed. Prior experience on Great Plains, SAP or similar ERP system is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts and agreements to ensure accurate billing terms, pricing structures, and compliance with client specifications.
- Research and resolve complex billing discrepancies by auditing accounts, analyzing historical data, and working cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Prepare, send, process, and track billing payments in accordance with standard procedures.
- Follow established company guidelines, policies, and internal billing procedures.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve account issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records within the system and update customer information as necessary.
- Post payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to customer accounts accurately.
- Follow up with customers regarding payment issues, missed payments, or past-due balances.
- Access and navigate vendor and customer billing portals, including Coupa, Ariba, and similar systems.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements to clients.
Qualifications:
- Associate's/Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
- 2+ years of Billing experience
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Interpersonal communication skills are a must for this role
- Attention to detail
