Step into a rewarding opportunity to support junior high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave, starting as soon as possible and extending through October 6, 2026. You’ll be working closely with students to promote development and success in communication skills during a pivotal time in their academic journey.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active SLP-CCC licensure issued by the state of Ohio is required.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with junior high students.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies appropriate for developmental and academic needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to junior high school students, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and devise evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
