Lead Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician – Experienced Technicians Only
– Punta Gorda, Sarasota,FL and surrounding areas
Commercial Appliance Parts & Service is seeking qualified Commercial Service Technicians for our team in Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and the surrounding areas. We are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial HVAC/R equipment at customer locations.

What does a Commercial Service Technician do?
- Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Equipment.
- Experience with RTUs, walk-in coolers, reach-in refrigerators, undercounter refrigerators, prep table refrigerators, refrigerated chef bases, and/or display refrigerators
- Provide excellent customer service by meeting expectations on every service call.
- Complete service calls in a timely manner.
- Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
- Maintain service vehicle and order necessary parts.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on commercial HVAC/R service and repair experience required
- Must be able to independently diagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment without direct supervision
- Strong experience with RTUs and commercial refrigeration systems
- Hands-on experience servicing equipment such as walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, refrigerated chef bases, and display refrigeration
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and refrigeration diagnostic skills
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Experience leading, mentoring, or providing technical support to other technicians strongly preferred
- HVAC/R trade school graduates without the required field experience will not be considered for this lead-level position
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards
