We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
- Program and troubleshoot VFDs and basic production equipment.
- Read electrical schematics and piping diagrams.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Perform basic plumbing and equipment repairs.
- Install and replace mechanical and electrical components.
- Follow OSHA, GMP, FDA, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout safety requirements.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production operations.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
- Ability to read/write English and communicate in Spanish.
- Flexible schedule and overtime availability.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must follow all safety and PPE requirements.
