Sonicu is looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Technician to assemble, test, prepare, and ship products to customers. As part of our Production team, you'll work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to meet quality and delivery expectations while helping build the hardware behind Sonicu's growing IoT and SaaS solutions.
Production Technician
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test Sonicu products according to established procedures, work instructions, and production requirements.
- Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet established requirements.
- Follow production procedures and work instructions while identifying and communicating potential issues or discrepancies.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements while maintaining quality standards.
- Use hand tools, equipment, and other production tools safely and correctly.
- Handle and organize production materials and components needed for assigned jobs.
- Maintain accurate production records, checklists, and required documentation.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and other team members to resolve production questions and keep orders moving.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area.
- Learn and become proficient in Sonicu's products, equipment, and production processes.
- Assist with other production activities as needed to support team goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve production processes, organization, quality, and efficiency and communicate ideas to the Production Supervisor.
Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or another hands-on technical environment preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and production equipment preferred.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment is a plus.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and learning new software.
