Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ growth as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative elementary setting. This is a contract opportunity specifically covering a maternity leave, offering consistent hours from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, throughout the full academic year. Located near Burlington, WI, you’ll make a real difference in young learners’ lives while working alongside educators and families dedicated to each student’s success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY
  • Previous experience providing SLP services within a school setting, preferably at the elementary level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of assessments, intervention techniques, and data collection for progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for K-5 students
  • Develop, deliver, and modify direct and consultative SLP services based on IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff to best serve diverse student needs
  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as required
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with all documentation standards
  • Communicate key progress, challenges, and strategies to parents and guardians
