A well-established general contractor in the Englewood market is looking to add a Project Engineer to its team. This is a strong opportunity for a construction professional who wants hands-on exposure to all phases of the project lifecycle while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents.
The Project Engineer will support projects from preconstruction through closeout, with responsibilities spanning project documentation, subcontractor coordination, material tracking, scheduling, quality control, and field support. Projects include municipal, school, commercial, and related work, with a preference for candidates with ground-up project experience.

Responsibilities
- SupportProjectManagersandSuperintendentsthroughoutallphasesofconstruction
- Reviewdrawings,specifications,andcontractdocumentsforpotentialconflictsandconstructabilityissues
- Manageprojectdocumentation,includingRFIs,submittals,transmittals,andcloseoutmaterials
- Coordinatewithsubcontractors,vendors,andfieldteamstokeepprojectsmovingonschedule
- Trackmaterialprocurement,deliveries,schedules,andothercriticalprojectmilestones
- Assistwithsubcontractorbuyout,qualitycontrol,safetyinitiatives,andgeneralprojectcoordination
Requirements
- Bachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Engineering,orarelatedfieldpreferred
- PreviousconstructionexperienceasaProjectEngineer,FieldEngineer,orsimilarrolepreferred
- Ground-upprojectexperiencepreferred
- Abilitytoreadandunderstandconstructiondrawings,specifications,andprojectdocumentation
- ExperienceworkingwithaGeneralContractorisstronglypreferred
- Strongorganizational,communication,andproblem-solvingskills
- Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedconstructionenvironment
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project preferred
