Multidisciplinary designfirm is seeking a ProjectElectrical Engineerto join their Des Moines team!
Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design
- Coordinate electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit (create construction documents/specifications)
- Execute quality assurance/quality control plans
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Coordinate tasks with other disciplines
- Perform supporting calculations
- Meet with clients through all phases of the project
- Travel to job sites for observation
- Projects include power distribution, lighting, arc flash studies, and electrical modeling
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Revit
- Understanding of International Building Codes
- Experience with RSMeans
Salary is commensurate with experience.
