Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Industrial Painter–Wheelabrator role typically combines industrial painting, surface preparation, and Wheelabrator operationa machine used to clean, blast, or finish metal components. These positions appear in fabrication shops, foundries, shipyards, and industrial manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Wheelabrator equipment to clean and finish castings or fabricated metal parts.
Prepare surfaces by blasting, sanding, or cleaning prior to coating.
Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.
Perform quality checks including blast profile readings, paint thickness readings, and surface inspections.
Maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and follow all safety procedures.
Assist with documentation related to blasting and painting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating Wheelabrator or similar blasting equipment.
Industrial painting or abrasive blasting experience (preferred in fabrication or shipyard settings).
Ability to interpret technical specifications and follow safety protocols.
Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and work in industrial environments.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
