HVAC Apprentice
Location: Memphis, TN
Compensation: Starting at $23/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday through Friday
Travel: Within 200 miles radius
Matlock Mechanical is an established commercial and industrial mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC and plumbing. We are looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice with strong mechanical aptitude to work alongside our experienced Lead HVAC Technicians.
What You'll Do
- Assist Lead Technicians with commercial and industrial HVAC service and maintenance
- Help troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment
- Learn HVAC systems, components, tools, and proper service procedures
- Follow job site and company safety standards
- Travel to customer locations within approximately a 200-mile radius
- Take on additional technical responsibilities as your skills develop
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- HVAC experience is preferred, but not required
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
- Willingness to travel within the service area and work overtime as needed
