Line Cook

Job Description

We are looking for our next long term team member! Seeking a Line Cook to join us at StackHouse Pub & Grill located in Chesterfield, Missouri. This is not a typical chain restaurant. Small staff, family atmosphere, accommodating management team. Our existing team is comprised of long term staff who are dedicated to their job. We are looking for good a team fit first. Be prepared to submit resume with minimum (2) professional references.

This position offers up to 40 hours a week.

Must have open availability

Job Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility of food product quality
• BBQ/Meat Smoking duties
• Station setup, food preparation, cook, stock station, clean up
• Clearly communicate with team members
• Follow company procedure for safe food handling
• Follow cleaning schedule, assist with dishes when necessary, and other kitchen duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience on Grill, Saut, preferred - willing to teach skills
• Work effectively within a team
• Ability to communicate
• Common sense approach to work
• Organization, cleanliness, time and task management a MUST
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Reliable transportation required
• Must work weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States
