Overview
Drill-Tech is seeking HDD Laborers to support horizontal directional drilling crews on underground utility projects in Philadelphia, PA.
Headquartered in Chester, Maryland, Drill-Tech performs HDD and underground utility work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
This is a hands-on field position responsible for assisting HDD crews with daily operations, equipment setup, material handling, and general construction activities. Previous HDD experience is helpful but not required for candidates with a strong construction background.
Responsibilities
- Assist HDD crews with daily field operations
- Support drilling, reaming, pullback, and pipe installation
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist with equipment setup and cleanup
- Help maintain clean and organized jobsites
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work closely with foremen and equipment operators
Qualifications
- Construction or underground utility experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in underground utility construction
- Experience working around HDD equipment
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Class A CDL or interest in obtaining one
- Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers or mini excavators
