Continuous Improvement Engineer driving energy transformation

Salisbury, NC

Driving the energy transformationis critical to reducing climate change. To limit climate risks, it is necessary to reduce the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Our Continuous Improvement teams play an important role in driving that transformation.

HexagonAgility,a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions, isdriving the energy transformationin the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with enterprise business areas at the operational and corporate level to drive process improvements, compliance standards and strategies for consistent, repeatable, and flawless execution

  • Implement Continuous Improvement initiatives to help ensure the continuation of streamlined processes to create a sustainable,lean organization

  • Analyze ambiguous problemsutilizingdemonstratedproficiencyof lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, standard work, Six Sigma, 5S and other lean tools

  • Manage and lead multiple Continuous Improvement/Industrial Engineering projects with minimal oversight

  • Develop and implement project plans to achieve Future State

  • Leads Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other Continuous Improvement activities ensuring projects are done according to budget and timelines

  • Conduct time studies, developand documentwork standards,andmaximizeline balancingtooptimizeworkflow anddrivethroughput andproductivityimprovements

  • Develop/implement metrics supporting lean manufacturing philosophy to track process improvements and cost reductions

  • Develop standards for process confirmation using sustainable problem solving

  • Support and executes training of others with focus on lean manufacturingtechniques

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • Other duties asrequiredand assigned
