Delivery Driver - Part-Time

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:

The Medina County District Library is seeking a Delivery Driver to join its Facilities department. Sorts and prepares library materials for shipping and delivery; maintains shipping/receiving records; delivers and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment to community libraries and other locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess high school degree or equivalent; valid Ohio driver's license in good standing; be safety conscious andactaccordingly;demonstrate the ability to lift and transfer crates of 50 pounds; and ability to follow instructions, work independently and in a team, and maintain schedule.Must pass pre-employment physical to ensure they can perform these physical requirements safely.

Wage:$16.60 per hour; Grade 3

BENEFITS:Vacation, sick leave, personal days, holidays, and other benefits basedon Unioncontract;Public Employees Retirement System

HOURS:Part-time; 25 hours per week; 8:00am – 1:00pm Monday – Friday(schedulesubjectto change based on needs of thelibrary)
