Material Handler
Pay: $19/hr
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–3:30pm; Friday, 6:00am–10:00am (overtime as needed Friday afternoons)
Type: Temp-to-Hire (eligible after 520 hours with good attendance and performance)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our Materials Department. This position plays a key role in supporting the assembly line by accurately picking and delivering forklift parts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick forklift parts from bins using a pick list to fulfill production needs
Load and stage carts with parts for assembly (3 carts per forklift build)
Operate a stand-up forklift occasionally to retrieve larger parts
Maintain organization and accuracy within the materials area
Ensure safe and efficient movement of materials to the production line
Follow all safety and quality guidelines
Requirements:
Previous experience in material handling or warehouse preferred
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Basic reading and comprehension skills for pick lists and part numbers
Must wear safety shoes
Experience operating a stand-up forklift a must
