Production Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintaining GMP / Housekeeping at a high level within the department through the involvement of all team members.

Oversee production facility and team member workflow

Ensure quality products and standards are maintained

Coordinate production start ups, shutdowns and changeovers

Responsible for maintaining safety standards as required by company policy

Ensure that maintenance keeps machines going, where they can reach production goals on their shifts.

Conduct performance evaluations, and adhere to departmental goals and expectations.

Manager responsibility includes management of employee performance, hiring, discipline, and development

Monitor and take appropriate timely improvement action to meet production quality and quantity

Facilitate team members workflow management, scheduling and team members’ placement to ensure the facility and company goals are successfully met or exceeded

Assigns, controls, and monitors required recourses to achieve established schedules

Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices

Insure the appropriate level of accountability for facility goals and objectives of the team leaders and team members’ levels

Responsible for creating a high morale workplace with professionalism

Ensure all paperwork is accurate, legible and completed in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience

·BS Degree preferred

·5 years of management or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
