Job Title:Distributed Energy ResourceEngineer
Location:Hybrid/Allentown, Pa
Job Summary:
Supportanddevelopment of DER Management program such as voltage management, network communication, data mapping, process development, and system operations requirements to manage distributed energy resources.Experience in voltage management and DER reporting ispreferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excel experience
- Pythonexperience 1 yr is preferred
- MODBUS 2030.5 experience preferred
Requirements for Distribution Operations DER EngineerBackground and experience in the following areas:
- Distributed Energy Resource (DER) planning and evaluating system impacts
- DER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV inverters
- Working knowledge of IEEE 1547.2018 and UL 1741
- Voltage optimization, hosting capacity, and power flow analysis
- DER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV inverters
- Communications of remotely operable distribution devices
