Description:
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel fuel trucks, boom trucks, and related equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and drivability issues to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation.
Service and repair brake systems, suspensions, transmissions, steering components, and emissions systems.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fuel pumping and fuel transfer equipment installed on trucks.
Review and respond to Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs), completing all required maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
Accurately document inspections, maintenance, repairs, and parts used in accordance with company procedures.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while following all company safety policies and applicable regulations.
Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to efficiently identify and resolve equipment issues.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and operations personnel regarding equipment status, repair needs, and maintenance schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned to support fleet maintenance operations.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred, or the ability to obtain and maintain a CDL within a company-established timeframe after hire.
Experience servicing and repairing air brake and/or hydraulic brake systems required.
Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment preferred.
Ability to safely use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
Basic personal mechanic's tools required; specialty tools are provided by the company, if applicable.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation.
Knowledge of and ability to follow applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to accurately complete maintenance records, inspection reports, and other required documentation.
