Position Overview /

The Assistant Transportation Manager will support the Transportation Manager in overseeing fast-growing B2B and B2C transportation operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service excellence. This role requires a proactive leader with strong operational execution skills, the ability to adapt to rapid business growth, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities /

Transportation Operations /

- Assist in daily management of B2B (bulk shipments, contract logistics) and B2C (e-commerce, last-mile delivery) transportation flows.

- Secure capacity with carriers, co-loaders, and trucking partners to support high and peak volumes.

- ,,

- Monitor delivery timeliness and quality, ensuring smooth handover between warehouse, fulfillment, and transportation teams.

Customer Experience /

- Deliver reliable, cost-efficient B2B services and fast, accurate B2C deliveries.

- Resolve exceptions and customer escalations with urgency.

- ,

- Collect and analyze feedback to improve service standards.

Vendor & Partner Management /

- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and trucking companies.

- Assist in contract negotiations and track vendor KPIs.

Growth & Scalability /

- Support transportation capacity planning for rapid business growth.

- Participate in network optimization (multi-warehouse coverage, linehaul planning).

- Prepare contingency plans for seasonal surges and market changes.

Team Leadership /

- Supervise coordinators/dispatchers and ensure SOP compliance.

- Train and mentor team members to build a scalable transportation team.

- Act as deputy for the Transportation Manager when needed.

Data & Process Management /

- Use TMS, WMS, CargoWise to manage operations and track performance.

- Analyze transportation cost, route efficiency, and service quality.

- Support finance teams with freight audit and cost control.

Qualifications & Requirements /

- Bachelor’s degree

- 3–5 years of transportation/logistics experience.

- 3–5/

- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and market operations.

- Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS/WMS/CargoWise) and MS Office.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Bilingual English & Chinese strongly preferred.
