Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate the edge guard table edge finishing system, including loading materials.

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.

- Conduct quality control inspections of materials produced by this process.

- Maintain production rates to meet or exceed established targets.

- Keep accurate records related to production and quality metrics.

- Operate other wood fabricating equipment and assist with projects as directed by management.

- Perform repairs and troubleshooting within the department to minimize downtime.

- Monitor for defects and ensure product quality standards are maintained.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience with wood finishing or fabrication equipment is preferred.

- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.

- Strong attention to detail and quality control.

- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.

- Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
