Lead and invent the new technology and ingredients with functional and sensorial benefits for personal care market and Household Industrial & Institution market, for examples, emulsifiers, film formers, rheology modifier, moisturizers, etc.
Independently perform research across multiple projects concurrently and effectively based on business and customer needs.
Propose and execute in-vivo and in-vitro test methods to develop structure-performance relationship, and to generate data for supporting application and benefiting claims of the new functional ingredients.
Collaborate with Product Application Chemists in creating an unique prototypes of trending concepts to demonstrate the benefits of the new functional ingredients.
Requirements
Ph.D. degree in chemistry and other related field, preferably with strong knowledge in colloidal science, green chemistry , or polymer science. Post Doctoral or Industrial experience is a Plus.
Track record in innovation, creativity, and independent thinker.
Strong writing and presentation skills
knowledge of market and consumer insights, sensory & instrumental protocols for the personal care and beauty market is a plus.
Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams that include Formulation, Production, Marketing, Sales, and Quality Control.
