Forklift Operator:Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin
Our customer inFort Atkinson, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Forklift Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials, supporting production, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
- Operate powered industrial trucks to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.
- Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines according to production schedules.
- Stack and organize goods in storage areas following inventory control procedures.
- Check loads for stability and secure them properly before transport.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Remove machine attachments, waste material, and empty pallets from work areas.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including order picking and preparing materials for shipment.
- Monitor materials for quality compliance and report discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentat all times.
Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a safe work environment.
- Basic computerskills;experience with RF scanners preferred.
- Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.
Pay for Forklift Operator:$19.25/hr.
