What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you will serve as the operational and cultural leader of STK Baltimore. You will oversee restaurant operations, develop a high-performing team, drive financial results, and ensure every guest receives the elevated hospitality experience associated with the STK brand.

Operations and Guest Experience

• Lead the restaurant’s daily operations while maintaining STK’s service, food quality, and hospitality standards
• Create a dynamic, high-energy environment for guests and team members
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor and build meaningful relationships with guests
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, liquor regulations, and local health standards
• Partner with culinary leadership to deliver consistent quality, execution, and operational excellence

Team Leadership and Development

• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-caliber management and hourly team members
• Coach, mentor, and develop leaders while creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide consistent feedback
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans
• Build an engaged team that reflects The ONE Group’s values and commitment to hospitality

Financial and Business Performance

• Take ownership of the restaurant’s P&L and overall financial performance
• Develop and execute annual budgets, sales forecasts, labor plans, and profitability strategies
• Monitor sales, labor, food costs, operating expenses, and other key performance indicators
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, and control costs
• Develop local marketing, networking, and community-engagement strategies that increase awareness and guest traffic
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and adherence to company controls

What We’re Looking For

• Five or more years of progressive restaurant leadership experience in high-volume, full-service dining
• Previous General Manager experience in an upscale, fine-dining, steakhouse, or polished hospitality environment strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success managing a high-volume restaurant and full P&L
• Proven ability to increase sales, control costs, and achieve profitability goals
• Strong leadership skills with a record of recruiting, developing, and retaining successful teams
• Exceptional understanding of elevated service standards and guest recovery
• Strong business judgment, financial acumen, and decision-making ability
• Experience with restaurant technology such as MICROS, Aloha, OpenTable, or comparable systems
• Ability to maintain a visible leadership presence and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
