The role:

We are looking for a team-player with a passion for helping people to join our Restoration team! This role is an hourly full-time position. You will provide jobsite leadership and exceptional customer service, reporting to the General Manager/Owner. Your focus will be working hands-on with the team to resolve our customer’s water and mold problems. The role will afford you opportunities for advancement as the company grows and according to your career aspirations and qualifications. Help us make “All Dry” a household name across Livingston and Washtenaw Counties. We want to be the #1 service people think to call when disaster strikes!

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Education:

Required:

Excellent customer service attitude

Leadership & supervisor experience; you’re comfortable being the person in charge at a jobsite

High School diploma or equivalent

5+ year prior professional work experience in a relevant area such as: Restoration/mitigation, maintenance, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, construction, HVAC

Valid driver’s license

Satisfactory driving record and criminal background check

Experience with power tools or instrumentation and devices

Experience with technology such as iPads, smart phones, and using software systems for things like timecard and job notes

Clear written and spoken English communication skills

Preferred:

CDL or experience driving company work vehicles

Excellent organizational skills, time-management, and interpersonal skills

A plus:

Sales experience

Relevant certifications and/or licensing such as IICRC certifications, OSHA safety

Job Requirements:

Able/willing to:

travel locally around Livingston & Washtenaw Counties

work in potentially challenging conditions/job sites

work flexible hours including an on call rotation

climb ladders, work at height and confined spaces

walk and stand for long periods of time including driving, sitting

routinely perform repetitive physical labor for sustained periods of time including pushing, pulling, lifting

lift up to 50 lbs

follow instructions/procedures and perform basic problem-solving

perform all aspects of remediation jobs according to training while providing excellent customer servie under limited supervision

must be available to work on weekends and after hours if needed (we’re a 24-hour service)

Core Responsibilities:

Maintain company vehicle and equipment in a clean, safe and ready state.

Report into pre and post job briefings.

Follow basic operating procedures and complete physical and electronic paperwork, forms, and checklists.

Safely travel to job sites in company vehicle

Interact with customers including explaining job scope with property owner while providing excellent service

Perform basic calculations, write, monitor and complete jobs using software.

Setup and breakdown job sites; plan out and clean up water and mold, applying remediation techniques, using tools and instruments

Assist with planning, coordinating, training, job quoting as required by senior staff/management.
