Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative Assistant Part-time

Objective: Under the direction of the commercial lines manager, provide commercial lines support and

assistance to producers, CSR's and the marketing specialist.

Position Authority:

1. Provide assistance and support in furtherance of commercial lines department and the agency as a whole.

2. Contact carriers as required and answer correspondence in a timely manner.

3. Maintain professional and courteous relationship with producers and assist with servicing of accounts.

• Process daily mail for assigned accounts and deliver to CSR's.
• Check carrier websites daily and process any documents to be given to CSR's.
• Answer and process telephone requests.
• Process billing and cancellation request according to agency operating procedures - call, follow up and prepare weekly Notice of Cancellation list and end of month cancellation list.
• Assist CSR's and producers with customer billing questions.
• Process Audit letters for Non-Compliant Audits.
• Process and prepare commercial renewals for review.
• Process Drivers List requests and process changes after returned.
• Assist producers with Driver Exclusions.
• Purge all accounts over 2 years and file appropriately.
• Filing customer files.
• Manage prospect files.
• Manage prospect leads and mailing of post cards.
• Scan Erie certificates to Erie weekly.
• Assist in clerical activities associated with commercial lines department.
• Photocopying, faxing, and scanning daily.
• Prepare renewal binders for producers.
• Order loss runs when requested.
• Print labels for files and envelopes.
• Stock supplies in commercial lines department.
• Process renewal, new business and final audit letters.
• Participate in and successfully complete education programs as requested by the agency manager.
• Perform other duties as requested.
