Tosupervisestrandinfrastructure andlashing.
PrincipaldutiesandResponsibilities:
- Operating bucket truck as well as other equipment related to aerial fiber construction
- Understandhowtoproficientlysetupthejob(strandtrailer,fibertrailerandcaddies)
- Understandclearancesfromtheotherutilities,ground,road,highway,sidewalk andnon- pedestrian areas
- Knowledgeandabilitytoproperlyframepolesaccordingtoindustryspecifications
- Supervisionoflash/over-lashsingleandmultiplecablebundlesoffibercables
- Abilitytoreadandinterpretnetworkprints
- Abilitytosafelyclimbpolesusinggaffsorladders
- UnderstandandfollowOSHAsafetyrequirementstocompletethejob(s)safelyand efficiently
- Communicatebyphonefrequentlythroughoutthework day
- Demonstrateleadershipskillsandabilitytoteach andtrain
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Highschooldiplomaorits equivalent
- Combinationoftechnicaltrainingand/orexperience
- 1-3yearsofrelevantexperience
- Previoussupervisoryexperiencepreferred
- Previousexperienceina constructionenvironmentpreferred
- Mustbeabletomeetphysicalrequirementoftheposition
- Mustbeabletoworknights andweekends,ifnecessary
- Mustbeabletoworkinallweatherconditions.
- Musthaveavaliddriver’s license
- MustbeauthorizedtoworkintheUnitedStates
- Mustbeableto passdrug, background, DOT&MVRscreenings
