Licensed Embalmer

We are seeking a highly professional, compassionate, and detail oriented Licensed Embalmer to join our team. This role is responsible for the preparation, preservation, and presentation of our families we serve deceased love ones with the highest level of dignity, respect, and technical skills. The ideal candidate brings both scientific expertise and restorative artistry, along with a commitment to serving our families during one of life's most difficult moments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform embalming in accordance with Texas state regulations and industry best practices
• Complete restorative art to create a natural, peaceful appearance for viewing
• Maintain strict sanitation, safety and chemical handling protocols in the preparation room
• Document all embalming procedures, chemicals used and case notes accurately
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws, including OSHA and funeral service regulations
• Ability to care for deceased professionally with discretion and compassion
• Maintain inventory of embalming chemicals and prep room supplies

Qualifications

• Current Texas Embalmer License
• Completion of a accredited Mortuary Science Program
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, chemistry, and restorative techniques
• Prior embalming experience highly preferred
• High level of discretion and emotional sensitivity
