We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer to take charge of designing and delivering turnkey conveyor control systems for major projects. You’ll work 'hands-on' with a talented team of engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to bring complex automation systems to life.
What You’ll Do:
- Turn customer requirements into smart, efficient control system designs
- Create hardware/software drawings, PLC code, and operational configs
- Oversee panel builds, wiring, and subcontractor work
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration
- Support installs, debug, and start-up on-site (domestic & international)
- Drive projects from concept through completion
- Regular travel to customer sites
Skills & Experience Required:
- BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or similar)
- Experience working on GM projects including conveyor systems (GM certification highly desirable)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & PLC control software
- Strong organizational, problem-solving & communication skills
- Comfortable in industrial plant environments & leading others
- Valid driver’s license & passport (or ability to get one)
